Our school is in Germany and we are from the federal state of Saxony-Anhalt. The name of the town is Blankenburg. It has about 15 000 inhabitants. These days you can find two primary and two secondary schools here. Then there is a big grammar school, too.

Our school is a secondary school and we have about 200 pupils and 20 teachers. Pupils come to our school after primary education (classes 1-4). At our school they are 10 to 16 years old (classes 5 – 10). For leaving school they have to take written exams in Maths, English and German and two oral ones. The leaving certificate allows them to go to professional training.

We have got a library, too. It`s on the second floor. Pupils can go there and find ots of books.

There are 4 laptops for the pupils. They can use them to surf the net or to do their homework.
