The Basic School with the Pre School Camacha, located at the site, Casais d´Além, next to the highway engineer Abel Vieira, in the parish of Camacha, county of Santa Cruz and is considered a rural school.

It is a building type "Centennial Plan", built in the 60s and inaugurated on 9 June 1969 by the Governor Civil Braamcamp Sobral.
This school has already undergone several operations for improvement, the latter being the year 2007.

The school operates in two shifts. Regarding the student body, it consists of 129 students of the 1st cycle and 75 children from preschool.
|
|
The faculty consists of 21 professors of the 1st cycle and 5 educators in Childhood, are also part of our faculty two professors of special education, one for the 1st cycle and one for the Pre School.
The Non-teaching staff is composed of 14 elements, including a cook, an administrative assistant and a Higher Technical Library.
