DESCRIPTION OF THE VISIT IN GERMANY
This was the fifth project meeting with the frame of the project “Cultural and social integration
in the context of Euro 2012
The aims of the visit :
- to work and finish the calendar EURO 2012
- to go through all the planned activities for year 2 and to check agreed responsibilities of all planned activities
- to agree the quality and quantity of cooperation in the project for year 2
- to check dates and arrange planned meetings for year 2 (due to changes at schools)
· The activities undertaken :

Working with students at the calendar EURO 2012

Analysis of the achieved aims of year 1, evaluation by the coordinator with the information of the assessment of all the agencies.

Partners took the chance to arrange student mobilities and to exchange ideas about how to arrange these mobilities (due to questions of partners)

All partners exchanged experiences/teaching material and ideas of project work in general.

All teachers took part in a big school yard party in Germany. They had a look at the activities ‘sport songs’ and ‘football clothes show’ prepared by the German pupils and teachers.

We created a European atmosphere by celebrating a school party together with all participants: teachers, pupils, parents, local people.

The pupils’ delegation was integrated during all the activities.

We got information about learning conditions in a special kind of school in Germany – whole-day school with a European profile and had the chance to meet teachers, parents and pupils. and local authorities.

We explored some of the most important cultural, natural and historical sights of the region to collect materials for cultural events in the participating countries.

The partners learned about German history in the special year of the 20th anniversary (after the wall came down) because the school is very close to the former border.

The group was welcomed by the mayor of our town Blankenburg to show the importance of the European project for the region.
Final Products and results
1. Ready calendar in digital version “EURO 2012” which includes, students’ work of each participating country
2. Agreed dates for the questionnaire for students (2nd time) up to April 2010- results will be sent to Norway by May 1st (latest date)
3. Agreed dates for mobilities
4. The knowledge of learning and teaching conditions of German school
5. New ideas for students’ activities within the project
6. Cultural awareness of German heritage
7. Official meetings with local authorities, parents, students, local society
